Be For It, Not Against It:

 

You’re probably now saying, “what is he talking about”?  This has to do with standing up for a cause.  For example, standing up for peace, is much better than being against war.  If you do something in peace, which is very positive, your results are much better.  If you fight against war, that is very negative and generates a very different feeling.

Being against something often implies negativity. And obviously being negative is not a good thing. So instead of possibly starting a conflict through this negativity, just consider changing your perspective on the subject matter. If there is an opportunity to agree or support something, this is definitely the road to take. Being for something is much better because this implies a positive perspective, therefore yielding much better results.
